It'd been almost a month now since her death. A few days after the funeral. A few hours since he'd visited again. Dust gathered too quickly in Brill, and already the stark wind had carried over the fresh gravestone. He stood there, alone in the darkness, staring down at the marker of the life which had been too soon extinguished. He regretted so much about this one. He regret not knowing her better. He regret that they hadn't parted on better terms. He regret that a life this full of love had been stripped from the world so meaninglessly. She'd been among the best of them. All that was said at the funeral was true. Every word from her heart had been one of love, and care, and yes, fun. It'd been a rare innocence which could never truely be brought back. However, he'd work as hard as anyone for a world where her love would be the rule, rather than the exception. With a grim determination eteched into his eyes, he set the newest flowers before grave, crossing with the sword that he knew that no one would ever dare to remove. He stood, laying his hand on the cold stone, bowing his head in solemn reverence, and he couldn't help the small twitching at the ends of his lips, as if some force beyond nature had forced him to smile. He didn't fight it, not this time. And with a nod, he patted the marker, and turned to leave, whispering a small goodbye before making his way down the cobblestone path, past the iron gates, and out of the graveyard.
Goodbye, Sibilya...
