What is your favourite RP area out of this list?

Out of these. No "Other" since everyone would choose that and the poll would die.

I'm voting Warsong Lumber Mill, since I love those distant drums, the closeness to Orgrimmar, all of the assorted units (Warcraft I, II, and III nostalgia FTW) just wandering made the scene so.. meaningful. Not to mention the treeroots, large robo-arms and huuuuge buildings. And the lack of annoying levellers made me happy!

Second would be Tyr's Hand. After being there I felt sorry for the Crusade, and wanted to go beat up some Nerubians and some skeletons. Music was okay. The huge amount of human buildings and Scarlet peoples made it really interesting - the hard part is finding a reason to go there, though.

I voted Ghostlands Shores. I like roleplaying there a lot with Amuria (Naij's IC love interest) because we don't get bothered often by low levels (if you pick the right spot), and the water is kind of soothing. You can also cast in a fishing line, and up your fishing skill while roleplaying! Two in one is always good.

I chose Scholomance mainly because its a great place to take a group in an have some sort of RP event. Very creepy and can incorporate plenty of RPs into it. Plus its nice to go old school once in a while and get a Dreadmist Hood? Yar

I chose Scarlet Monastery because it's got a lot of RP potential for Lathlain, and while I haven't actually RPed with him there, I have RPed in SFK in a very similar way - a studious mage in a library, you do the rest.

My vote went for the Hinterlands Cliffs. I'd like to expand that to the Hinterlands in general if I can.

The Hinterlands has some neat music, but what I love most about it is how varied in mood it is. In the daytime, it's very sunny, and there are a few islands scattered along the shore where you can go to RP privately. You could have a beach party or a relaxing picnic.

You can also go hang out with the Moonshine crew (that dwarf and high elf) just east of Quel'danil Lodge and directly south of Scholomance; pretend you're on a camp out with plenty of booze.

There is also that empty little house on the southwest side of the map, tucked away in the mountains.

There there is the little farm directly south of Revantusk... (You have to swim to get there.) Very cute, and except for the two dwarves there, you have a huge amount of land where NO ONE goes. It has a little dock as well, so you could fish if you liked.

Then there is just the general road--I love love love the pine/fir trees that characterize the Hinterlands. It's very scenic, and if you go to the bridge that crosses the river on the east side of the map (near Skulk Rock), you can find some nice little areas to RP.

Did I mention the waterfalls? There are at least two or three really neat ones!

Also, if you're careful to avoid the elites, you can roleplay in the northeast corner of the map, near the portal to the Emerald Dream. There are some fun High Elven ruins there.



...You should see the Hinterlands when it's rainy and foggy too. It gets a very "spooky/gloomy" feel to it that I find especially attractive. ...Especially if you bring a lantern to enhance the contrast.

AZSHARA!!! Damn, that place used to be Sun's old stomping ground! Was one of my favorite places to hang out, RP, whatever.

Feralas also has two nice camps tucked away in the southern hills if you know where you're going. XD

Currently my favorite place is just Eversong, because that's where Sun's Tower is, as well as her 'estate' (or more accurately the Valerush estate, even though both her and her hubby's names are on the deed).
